Pehin Sri Abdul Taib Mahmud officiates HIKMAH 40th Annivessary

 

KUCHING, Sarawak – The Chief of Sarawak, Pehin Sri Abdul addressed the 40thanniversary of on June 25, 2009.  He commended and thanked ’s past presidents Tun Datuk Patinggi Yakub who led the organization from 1969 to 1989, Datuk Mohd. Motrtadza Daud (1989-1993) and Tan Sri Datuk Amar Hj. Bujang Nor (1993-2005) for their contribution in steering BINA- what it is today. He said had met its objectives in building a young Muslim generation that possessed discipline and self-confidence, as well as raising public awareness that was a religion for all, not just for the Malays.

Visit to United Sabah Islamic Association (USIA)

Officials from Japan Muslim Association Visited RISEAP

Professor Tayeb Hideomi Muto and Dr Yahya T. Endo of Muslim Association (JMA) visited today.  They were welcomed by  YBhg Tuan Haji Omar, RISEAP .

During the visit, the JMA representives conveyed   their condolences  to YAB RISEAP President over the demise of  YAB  President’s beloved wife, Allahyarhamah Datuk Amar Puan Sri Dr Hjh Laila Taib.

Seoul Symposium 28th – 30th April 2009

KUALA LUMPUR :  Department of the Muslim Communities and Minorities, the General Secretariat of the Organization of Islamic Conference (OIC) in co-ordination with the Regional Islamic Da’wah Council of Southeast Asia and the Pacific () conducted a Workshop on the Implementation Mechanism for the Recommendations of the Seoul Symposium at Melia Hotel, Kuala Lumpur from 28 April 2009 till 30 April 2009.

This Workshop is the follow-up meeting to formulate the right means and ways to implement the recommendations adopted at the Seoul Symposium which was held at Seoul, Korea last July 2008.

Visit To Ho Chi Minh City

HO CHI MINH CITY : officers led by the Secretary General, Hj. Mohd. visited Ho Chi Minh City on 16th and 17th April 2009.  The objective of the official trip was to establish rapport with Islamic Non Government Organizations in the city and in the country.
